Brought to you by Horsenorth, Lori Mitchell and Med globe Synergy. This course is designed to provide the necessary tools to recognize and manage emergencies. The program is the most complete that Med globe offers to the general public, in basic first aid. Standard First Aid includes all techniques of CPR for an adult, child, and infant along with easy to learn First Aid skills.
For the past 9 years Lori has been certified as a First aid Instructor for the Canadian Red Cross, Heartzap & MedGlobe Synergy.
Lori began her career as a First Aid Instructor with the Canadian Red Cross as a branch instructor and within 3 years became an Authorized Provider for the company. For 5 years 2003 - 2008 she was the authroized provider for Pleasure Craft Operating Cards Proctoring more than 10,000 people to receive their boating cards. In 2009 she decided to leave the Canadian Red Cross and work for MedGlobe Synergy, as an Authorized Provider.
Some of the companies that she haves trained include Carillion Construction, Loft House Brass, Sundridge & South River Foodland, TransCanada Pipelines, Capital Power Corporation, Mac Lang Chrysler, Pizza Hut, Casey's bar & Grill, LCBO, Danny's Justa pasta, Parry Sound Employment services as well as many publicly held courses.
First Aid Course includes:
Preparing to respond,
Disease transmission
CPR,
Bleeding,
Bandaging,
Fainting,
Head, neck, spinal trauma
And much, much more.
This is a hand's-on learning course. There is a lot of interaction with each other and senerio work.
The larger the group, the better it is to work with different senerios.
The Cost for this course, including the books, and a weekend pass to the fair: $135
